CONGRATULATIONS TO ISRA TEAM
On the 4th October 2011, another milestone has been created for the International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) when we have been recognized by KLIFF as the Most Outstanding Islamic Finance Research House. The award which was presented during KLIFF 2011 dinner on 4th October 2011 in Istana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur was received none other than the Executive Director of ISRA himself, Assoc Prof. Dr Mohamad Akram Laldin.
Besides ISRA award, we are proud of Assoc Prof Dr Asyraf Wajdi, HOD of Research Affairs for being the top 3 in KLIFF essay writing competition on Islamic Finance 2011. Dr Asyraf has written an essay on Ethical and Social Responsibility Models for Islamic Finance. Other than Dr Asyraf another 2 are Bro. Hafas Furqani – ISRA’s intern : The Challenges in the Construction of Islamic Economics Discipline and Dr. Umar Aimhanosi Oseni – ISRA’s Research Assistant: Islamic Finance Litigation : An Empirical Analysis of The Practitioners.
